 Please work on the rhetorical essay. Tomorrow we will be going over MC on AP Classroom and next work working on precis writing.

 

Wednesday

 Today we will look at the AP Rubric and a rhetorical analysis prompt.

 

 

Monday

 Please do the assigned AP Classroom MC questions. Everyone needs to be in the green. Remember past MC questions, past review videos, past class discussions.

 Please work on the synthesis essay. Due Monday!

 Please make sure that you have sent me Woman Warrior essays. I will be grading those today.

We will be going over AP classroom and looking at MC questions from a recent test.

 

Friday

 Today, I want to go over the open question rubric. Look at some student examples of the open question and give you some time to either do the assigned AP Classroom MC, or read Woman Warrior.

Next week we will be revisiting the synthesis essay and continuing with MC questions.

 Today you have time to work on the essay below. The final chapter for Woman Warrior is due Tuesday.

Consider this quotation about adversity from the Roman poet Horace. Then write an essay that defends, challenges, or qualifies Horace’s assertion about the role that adversity (financial or political hardship, dander, misfortune, etc.) plays in developing a person’s character. Support your argument with appropriate evidence from your reading, observation, or experience.
